湘南・藤沢の江ノ島（片瀬）に2026年7月19日オープンした
藍染工房「ROCK NAVY」です。
当店では、タデ科の藍の葉を発酵させて作る伝統的な染料「すくも（阿波藍）」を使い、化学薬品を使わず灰汁で発酵させる「天然灰汁発酵建て」で布を染める、江戸時代から続く日本屈指の技法を採用しています。
使用している藍液は、阿波藍の産地として知られる徳島県上板町を拠点に、藍の栽培から蒅（すくも）造り、染色、製作までを一貫して行う「株式会社Watanabe’s」が藍建てしたものを取り入れています。

At ROCK NAVY, you can experience a traditional Japanese indigo dyeing technique dating back to the Edo period. We use "Sukumo"—a natural dye (Awa-ai) made from fermented leaves of the Japanese indigo plant—and dye fabrics using a "natural wood-ash lye fermentation" process without chemical agents.
We offer original indigo-dyed products as well as hands-on dyeing experiences where you can dye items or your own clothing on the spot.
